Chloe Gardner

Co-Founder – CEO Capture the Action

Chloe has a varied background involving performance, teaching, business management, entrepreneurship, travel, film production, and directing. Completing her MBA at the Laureate recognised – Torrens University Australia, in 2019, and winning the Winnovation Award for Creative Entrepreneurship in 2016, Chloe has been wearing many hats for the last 20 years.

Chloe launched Kids Camera Action (a film school for youth) in 2010 and saw it rise to become the most successful film school for youth in Australia, with contracts in UAE, USA, NSW, Victoria, and of course South Australia. 

In 2011 Chloe launched Adelaide’s first film festival for youth, the Adelaide International Youth Film Festival which was acquired by the Adelaide Film Festival in 2019.

Chloe is a company director at Watchpost. and a founder of Arterial Films and has been expanding her expertise in the film and corporate sector as a valued producer, production manager, line producer, and Business Development Manager.

As CEO and co-founder of Capture the Action, she is excited about schools using this innovative program and helping their students succeed.

Jayne Kelly

Co-Founder – COO Capture the Action

Jayne is a pioneer in teaching filmmaking in schools. In 1983, she was on the Implementation Task Force for Media Studies in SA schools and it has been her passion for more than three decades.

Jayne is the founder of the South Australian Branch of Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM).

Between 1990-93, Jayne moved to London and worked at the National Film Theatre. Subsequently, she created a media arts program for schools with a focus on filmmaking. Her students have won film competitions and attended the Giffoni Film Festival on the Amalfi coast. In 2016, Jayne was invited to join the Adelaide International Youth Film Festival as Director of Schools and Submissions.

After recognising an increasing demand for filmmaking in schools, particularly at the primary level, Jayne became a founder and COO at Capture the Action. The goal is to provide an accessible and affordable filmmaking program for teachers across the globe.

She is passionate about helping primary school teachers to enjoy the benefits of delivering filmmaking in their classes.

Martina Budimir

Technical Director

Martina is a web and graphic designer based in Adelaide, South Australia. After completing her Graduate Diploma at the University of South Australia in 2009, she worked at Brand New Creative creating work for brands across a range of different industries before leaving to pursue work as a freelance designer.

In 2014 Martina commenced teaching at the University of South Australia in the Bachelor of Graphic and Communication Design. She is currently a third year lecturer and teaches and coordinates the third year design studio and web design courses.

She is passionate about seeing students succeed and enjoys blending design and education.
